In Māori, an Eastern Polynesian language and the language of the Māori people, the indigenous population of mainland New Zealand, “WHĀNUI” means something all-encompassing and balanced, perfectly reflecting the nature of this fragrance. It’s also the word for vanilla.
This is a vanilla fragrance for those who typically shy away from vanilla. Which means, it’s the opposite of the expected. WHĀNUI opens with cool, fluid minty notes, offering a dry, creamy vanilla that avoids sticky-sugary sweetness. Instead, it emphasizes balsamic undertones, creating a subtle composition that stays close to the skin. The woody and musky elements linger subtly in the background, providing depth and a harmonious foundation to the fragrance.

This is a fragrance that can be worn year-round. In the hot summer months it wears fresh and elegant. In the cooler months the cooler notes offer an alternative to more dense, heavier compositions.
